Xiao Xi, Doctor of law, Jilin University KuangYaming Excellent A class Professor, Doctoral supervisor, Dean of School of International and Public Affairs.


Her main research interests are Chinese diplomacy, national security and international relations theory. For a long time, Shehas taught undergraduate students such as Contemporary China’s Diplomacy and Introduction to Diplomacy, and postgraduates such as Research on China’s Diplomacy and Security Strategy, Research on Contemporary China’s Foreign Policy, Research and Design of International Relations. She has published more than 70 papers in authoritative journals such as Social Sciences in China, World Economics and Politics, Journal of Political Science, China: an international journal (SSCI Journal). Many papers have been reprinted in full by Xinhua Digest, Chinese Social Science Digest, China University Academic Abstracts, International Politics, Chinese Diplomacy and Political Scienceand other full-text copies of newspapers and periodicals of Renmin University of China; As a member of the expert group, she participated in the compilation of the key textbook of the Marxist theory research and construction project that initiated by the Ministry of Education, including Contemporary Chinese Diplomacy, and independently and participated in the writing of 17 works and textbooks such as Chinese Diplomacy in the New Era and Chinese Thoughts on Diplomacy and Security; Presided over 21 scientific research projects, including 14 national, provincial and ministerial projects, 2 major projects of the National Social Science Fund, 2 projects of the National Social Science Fund, 3 projects of the Ministry of Education, etc.


After the beginning of her teaching career, she has won the honorary titles of Advanced Individual of Teaching and Educating People of Jilin University, Advanced Individual of Philosophy and Social Science Research of Jilin University, Advanced Individual of Philosophy and Social Science Research of Jilin University in the 12thFive-Year Plan, and has become one of the first batch of candidates of Young Academic Leaders Support Plan of Philosophy and Social Sciences of Jilin University,the first batch of winners of Elite Training Stage of Jilin University Excellent Young Teachers Training Plan.
